Everyone who knows me knows I’m a bit of an oddball, I have books on magick and spell casting and am massively into horoscopes; to the point of phoning guys up and accusing them before they’ve even done anything of their potential bad traits after reading up on their star sign – yes, NUT JOB. Anyway, despite all of these ‘interests’ I’ve never actually attempted to cast a proper spell, largely due to the inconvenience of the times of casting, difficult ingredients and preparation needed. However I came across this really simple and impactful spell a while ago online and decided to bookmark it for the upcoming Blue Moon, on Friday 31st August. A Blue Moon is the occurrence of a second full moon in a month. This second full moon is so rare (the last was in December 2009 and the next following this one is July 2013) it’s understandably a very powerful time for magick.
The great thing about this spell is that it is 100% positive and not impacting on anyone’s free will, so 100% ‘white’ magick. When I saw it I just thought it was a really positive thing to do, regardless of whether you agree with or believe in magick. Definitely good for those who are into Law of Attraction, Law of Detachment and Cosmic Ordering!
As I mentioned you don’t need lots of annoying ingredients (literally like some safety pins and blue cloth), but you do need a bottle of Champagne, or a celebratory drink. Despite the fact that I guzzle Champagne generally on a frequent basis, I don’t think I’d be that keen on popping open a new bottle on a Friday night, to drink by myself in the moonlight. Just as I was thinking about how I’d need to purchase a half bottle and quickly drink it and do the spell work before my Friday night plans, this little can of PROSECCO caught the corner of my eye sitting on the shelf in my room! I was given this ages ago at an event, it’s by 4711 by Maurer & Wirtz* (an Eau de Cologne!), who manufacture these bubbles in mini cans as part of their range – how awesome is that? Unfortunately the cans are only available in Germany, I wish you could get them in UK too!

Haha, awesome! If you have trouble finding the blue cloth/paper with stars and moons on I think you could probably just buy a gold or silver pen and draw them on?? I think that’s probably what I’m going to do! xx
