Haven’t done an outfit post in a while, so here’s this lovely prom dress I bought from the River Island sale last week..
I’ve titled it Undecided as even though I like it, I’m just not sure where I’m going to wear it? It’s not quite relaxed enough to get away as a cutesy afternoon tea dress, nor is it a show stopping stunner for real dressy affairs so very much a difficult in-between number.. I’m reluctant to return it as I love the detail of the net underskirt/petticoat that poofs out ever so slightly (great for dancing and twirling around in – a source of endless pleasure!) and the neckline and cut is great, but overall, well.. What are you thinkin’?
‘Shooting’ this dress also gave me the opportunity to play around with my new lighting equipment that I bought recently. It’s still very much a learning curve and I did eventually manage to achieve pretty much perfect lighting by the end shots (lots of trial and error!), but I liked the first, slightly shadowy ones best which are the ones I’ve used here.. It makes me feel like I’m the David Lynch of Fashion Blogging and I quite like it!
I have two weeks to contemplate the fate of this dress, so opinions please..

You HAVE to keep it – it’s gorgeous on you! You could always dress it down with more casual shoes and a jumper or cardigan or even tee for the day and then have it as you’re wearing it for night time. I think it’s beautiful and a definite KEEP xx
